Descriptions: Hi Wesley, Upon review of the hire allowances for the hoist. I have noted my administrator failed to include monthly Maintenance. For the purposes of getting it over the line, I will throw this in at no additional chare to the hire charge. I am happy to lock it in for 20 weeks and provide a grace period of ±2 weeks. Just to reiterate, we will allow an additional 6 weeks grace period on the scaffold seeing your hire up to 26 weeks on building B and 36 weeks on building A. We will also provide all brand new chain wire and mesh around the perimeter of the building and the hoist to be provided will be a brand new unit with state of the art controls. I want to ensure you get the best for your project and your clients. Also, regarding the arrangement of 2 board scaffold. We will maintain the 2 board on the boundary line but we will install 3 board everywhere else as to comply with Australian Standards, at no additional charge. Descriptions: Hi Wesley, Please see my comments below in red. • How many days do you need to erect scaffold per floor. It should take approximately 2 working days per level. • How many days do you need to dismantle scaffold per floor. Dismantle is usually done per elevation, but in the instance we are dismantling level by level it would also take 2 working days. • Does hire period count from when you have finished the floor or when you have finished the entire system. Hire period begins from initial handover after the base out. • Similarly, does end of hire period start for the entire system or per floor. Hire is calculated to be staggered. That is, the first floor is the full duration and each subsequent level is naturally a lesser hire period. • Can you cap the period. We won’t be using it for 2 years that’s for sure. But if we need it for an additional few weeks we’d like it just lumped into one if you know what I mean. I would need to sit and discuss construction program and pricing with you first before coming to an agreement. • I’ve had a review of the drawings. You’re still missing scaffold for the basement. I’ll allow one of my CA’s to send you revised drawings. I have resubmitted this according to Crystals request. However I believe there are a few questions/potential cost savings about the construction methodology.
